DAILY AGENDA

Day 1:

Field development plan overview

• Exploration phase.

• Reservior management process.

• Risk registery.

• Field development options.

The particepant will learn exploration phase appraisal, data collection and analysis, Risk identification and evaluation. The day will conclude with the basis for proper business plan development.

Day 2:

Gate Process.

• Gate stages overview.

• Gate process approval cycle and peer review.

• Deliverables per stage.

In day 2, the gate process will be explained in detaile from the pre-concept stage to operation. Furthermore, finacial proposal and the approval cycle after each stage.

Day 3:

Projects development.

• Projects required for field development.

• Schedual development to meet business plan goals.

• Project verification and validation guidlines.

In day 3, the partcipants will learn the required project to produce the hydrocarbon safeley and economically. The importance of project schedule for timely excution on the projects best value. The day will end with detail discussion of project verification and validation methods such as HAZID, HAZOP, value engineering and design reviews.

Day 4:

Field pipeline networks and production facilities.

• Overall Field layout.

• Facilities layout (production, injection and export).

• Pipeline networks.

In day4 the participant will learn the required facilites from the wellheads to the export terminal. facilities layout, pipeline networks design, rout and installation.  the day will conclude with the development of field layout drawing showing wells, pipelines, processing and exporting (fixed terminal, bouys and FPSO) facilities.

Day 5:

Business plan development

• Business plan development requirement.

• Technoeconomical evaluations and options selections.

• Projects ranking and evaluation.

In day 5 the participants will learn how to develop a business plan for 1, 5 & 30 years, Field development options, techno-economical evaluation and option selection.

The day will end with evaluation of new oil field example.
